We're bringing something exciting, energetic, and packed with fun to Otley… and we're looking for a hands-on Play Supervisor to help create unforgettable experiences for every family that visits.
At Grass Hoppers, no two days are the same. From supporting a busy team and ensuring the highest standards across the site to helping create magical moments for children and their families, you'll be right at the heart of the action. This is more than just a supervisory role — it’s an opportunity to help shape a brand-new team and support the success of an exciting new operation from day one.
Reporting to the Grass Hoppers Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of Grass Hoppers
- Leading, motivating and developing team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across the site
- Helping to manage rotas, holidays and staffing levels to ensure the operation runs smoothly
- Supporting stock control and reducing waste where applicable
- Monitoring play and visitor areas to ensure they remain welcoming, safe and fun
- Handling customer queries and concerns in line with our Values
- Driving team engagement and helping the site achieve performance and sales targets
- Carrying out performance conversations and supporting colleague development
- Taking responsibility for the site in the Manager's absence
- Assisting with opening, securing and closing the site safely
- Building positive working relationships across the wider business
You’ll work closely with the Grass Hoppers Manager to create a fantastic environment for both customers and colleagues, helping to deliver memorable experiences every single day.
