We’re getting ready to open Grass Hoppers Otley, a vibrant, family-focused destination full of energy — and we’re building a fantastic kitchen team to support it. We’re looking for both Kitchen Assistants and Kitchen Porters to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

About the RoleThis is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting our kitchen operation. Depending on the shift, you’ll help with food prep, service, or keeping the kitchen running efficiently behind the scenes. Your day-to-day could include:
- Preparing and serving food to a high standard
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures (full training provided)
- Managing the pot wash area efficiently
- Washing and clearing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Checking in deliveries and putting stock away correctly
- Supporting the kitchen team with basic food prep when needed
Every role is vital — whether you’re on prep or pot wash, you’re a key part of delivering a great guest experience. We’re more interested in attitude than experience — we’ll teach you the rest!
