Summary
The Site Operative will be responsible for effectively operating the facility in Norfolk.
They will also undertake various maintenance tasks and ensure that the site areas are kept clean, tidy, and dry at all times, ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.
The Site Operative will also be responsible for taking samples for laboratory testing, and safely carrying out weighbridge and feedstock acceptance duties.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the facility and plant processes.
- Monitor performance, identify issues and support maintenance activities to maximise uptime.
- Manage material acceptance, quality checks, weighbridge operations and stock control.
- Safely undertake vehicle loading/unloading and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Accurately record operational data, sampling results and site information.
- Support contractors and site management, contributing to the smooth running of operations.
- Promptly report incidents, contamination, damage and other site concerns.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to work with computers
- Proactive, flexible and reliable, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a process or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of anaerobic digestion (AD), biogas and feedstock operations..
