As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our hospitality and catering establishment, leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring efficient operation and high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Oversee food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budgetary targets.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate kitchen performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality and catering industry.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to create and execute innovative menus.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
