Join Our Growing Team at Jarvie Plant! Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about coordinating operational support? Based at our Grangemouth depot, this key role within our Hire and Service Team supports plant, accommodation, and power hire services.

As a Hire & Service Administrator, you’ll manage breakdowns, maintenance schedules, and customer enquiries, ensuring our customers’ hire equipment is safe, operational, and ready to meet their needs. By keeping our hire fleet in top condition, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring reliable operations and directly contribute to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of breakdowns and service activities from start to finish to minimise downtime and maximise asset availability.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all hire and service activities.
  • Act as the main link between customers, depots, subcontractors, and field service personnel, ensuring timely communication and swift resolution of issues.
  • Monitor service and breakdown performance, escape issues when needed, and recommend process improvements.
  • Support planning and execution of maintenance schedules, ensuring all assets remain compliant, safe, and operational.
  • Produce reports to inform operational decision-making and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Administer job sheets, checklists, quotations, invoicing, and service files with accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service processes and implement solutions in coordination with the team.
