Responsibilities:

  • As Shift Leader/Senior Nail Technician you will be conducting treatments whilst taking on supervisory responsibilities.
  • Keep a close eye on day-to-day activities, assist the Salon Manager in a smooth running of the salon.
  • Set the tone for teamwork and positivity, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among our salon staff.
  • Ensure every customer receives outstanding service that aligns with Townhouse’s high standards and address any concerns or issues professionally.
  • Opening and closing duties, maintain cleanliness and organisation, and assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Onboard new team members, providing guidance and ongoing support to help them succeed.
  • Monitor team performance and address any concerns promptly.
  • Work with Salon Manager to implement plans for performance improvement when needed.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining staff schedules, ensuring we have the right team in place during busy times.
  • Drive salon team to actively recommend and sell Townhouse nail care products tailored to each client’s needs, contributing to salon retail targets.
  • Work within a cluster of salons; you may be required to work in other salons.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy, Nail Technology or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate previous experience as a Shift Leader/Salon Supervisor or Senior Nail Technician.
  • Must have full time availability, including weekends.
  • Have knowledge of nail products, techniques, and current trends.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
