The role sits at the centre of creative, technical, fabrication and live delivery, translating creative intent into practical, safe and commercially sound outcomes. Production Managers are involved from the early stages of a project, contributing to feasibility, delivery approach, programme and cost, and remain accountable through delivery and close out.
The Production Manager leads project delivery, owns production budgets, manages suppliers and site delivery, and is accountable for quality, programme and delivery standards across multiple concurrent projects.
What you will be responsible for:

- Maintain clear programme control and prioritisation across multiple live projects.
- Define scope, delivery responsibilities and production strategy for each project.
- Translate client objectives and creative intent into clear technical and delivery plans.
- Act as the bridge between client, creative, technical, fabrication and delivery teams.
- Support early project development, pitches and proposals by providing feasibility, approach and cost input where required.
- Undertake detailed site visits and surveys as required to inform delivery strategy, logistics planning, risk management and programme development, clearly communicating key findings to internal teams and suppliers.
Client Liaison and Communication:
- Act as the primary client/client team facing production contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead production discussions with client teams, articulating feasibility, cost, programme and risk.
- Manage evolving client requirements through clear communication and structured change control.
- Represent Creation professionally in client meetings and on site environments.
Technical Coordination and Solutioning:
- Work closely with Creative, Technical Design and Scenic Production to develop buildable solutions.
- Challenge proposals constructively to ensure feasibility, safety, cost and programme alignment.
- Review drawings, specifications and methodologies to ensure delivery readiness.
- Identify technical and delivery risks early and lead mitigation planning.
- Coordinate delivery across scenic, fabrication, logistics, print and technical production elements as required by each project.
- Develop delivery approaches and manage AV and technical production suppliers, ensuring integration with build and site delivery.
Budget and Commercial Management:
- Own production budgets from initial estimate through to final reconciliation.
- Track costs accurately and manage change control.
- Appoint, brief and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Protect margin while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Delivery Leadership, Delegation and Site Oversight:
- Appoint, brief and instruct Lead Installers and site teams to deliver projects effectively.
- Ensure delivery teams are fully set up with clear plans, information and authority prior to site delivery.
- Maintain oversight of live delivery through structured communication and reporting.
- Attend site as required to lead, coordinate or resolve issues.
- Retain accountability for programme, quality and outcomes whether on site or remote.
Logistics, Compliance and Quality:
- Plan logistics, access, transport, crew and installation methodology.
- Ensure RAMS, compliance and safe working practices are in place.
- Maintain quality control across all delivery elements.
- Identify risks early and act decisively to resolve issues.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager within live events, experiential or complex physical builds.
- Experience contributing to projects from early feasibility through delivery and close out.
- Experience coordinating a wide variety of delivery types including build, fabrication, logistics, print and technical production.
- Proven experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, budgets and site delivery.
- Experience running projects both on site and remotely through well briefed Lead Installers and delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of documentation for live shows, A V, fabrication, logistics and event related health and safety.
- Comfortable acting as the translator between client needs and technical delivery.
- Calm, solutions focused and decisive under pressure.
- Confident leading delivery through others rather than being hands on.
- Able to delegate clearly and trust appointed Lead Installers and delivery teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and sound judgement.

- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Collaborative and effective when working across cross functional teams and with external suppliers.
