We are looking for an all-rounder delivering activities and experiences in all the above through play! Imagine the best family club or summer camp in the world, with state of the art play facilities. Purple Dragon is a luxury private members club, providing effortless family time, all of the time, for families with children up to twelve years of age. We’re the place for children that love adults, where great memories are made.

At Purple Dragon, our team of energetic Play Ambassadors ensure that the monthly theme is brought to life through delivering innovative adventures, activities and child-initiated play experiences. From penalty shoot outs and Valoclimb challenges, sensory play, creating in the art lab, leading a disco party in the studio or saving the world on a superhero SOS! Each day brings a new adventure.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To deliver creative and imaginative play sessions in structured classes in accordance with the Play Team guidelines and Weekly Themes.
  • To facilitate free play with members throughout the club – being inclusive and welcoming to all.
  • Ensure the environment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • To set up the play areas for activities, making sure toys and games are available and ready for play.
  • Prepare for and deliver weekly adventures and experiences.
  • Supervise and monitor group play, assisting and intervening where appropriate.
  • To work as a team to deliver a 5* family experience for our members.
Skills:
  • Preferably 1 year of work experience of delivering children’s activities in settings such as childcare, play and educational environments, sports/dance/music camps, holiday clubs.
  • Other relevant skills are great, such as a musical talent, experience of singing and performing, being a great artist.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Clear Enhanced DBS.
Personality:
  • Passionate about play and child engagement.
  • Creative, able to use imagination and original ideas to engage in play activities.
  • Organized, calm and collected.
  • The ability to communicate with both children and adults simultaneously.
  • Be energetic with high levels of stamina.
  • Attention to detail and drive to deliver excellent customer service.

  • Location: Chelsea, London (club-based role).
  • Hours: Full-time 36 hours per week, over 4 days or 18 hours over 2 days. Weekend availability needed.
