The Role

This is a full-time in the office role located in London for a Junior Mechanical Services Design Engineer. The role involves designing new mechanical and public health systems from scratch to construction stage. Day-to-day tasks include creating and modifying designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, conducting surveys and inspections of installations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with senior engineers to optimize system performance.

Some of our most successful junior engineers have come from a CAD / Revit background and working alongside our senior engineers and pre-con managers have grown into mechanical engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Producing mechanical and public health drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit for all stages of design
  • Assisting with HVAC and public health design work
  • Carrying out thermal modelling using IES or similar software

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or building services engineering
  • 2 years’ experience in mechanical and public health services design
  • Revit and thermal modelling experience is a bonus
  • Someone self-motivated, efficient, and comfortable working under pressure
