The Role
As a Junior Interior Designer, you will support the Design Directors and wider design team with the coordination and delivery of workplace design projects. This is a varied and hands‑on role combining design support, project coordination, supplier liaison, presentation preparation, and administration. This is not a lead designer role. It is ideal for someone looking to build experience within a collaborative design‑and‑build environment while developing knowledge of workplace interiors, project processes, and design delivery. You will play an important role in helping projects run smoothly, ensuring presentations are polished, information is organised, and project teams are supported throughout the design and build process.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support Design Directors and project teams across multiple workplace projects
- Prepare client presentations, mood boards, and design documentation
- Assist with furniture, finishes, and material sourcing
- Coordinate samples, supplier information, and product documentation
- Support drawing packs, revisions, and document control
- Organise project files, trackers, and meeting notes
- Attend site visits, showroom visits, and installation preparation where required
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery
- Help maintain project timelines, action lists, and project coordination
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support to the design team
What We’re Looking For
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or InDesign would be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Interest in workplace interiors, commercial design, and the built environment
