Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care - Assist clients with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support mobility, including transfers and use of mobility aids.
  • Assist with continence care where required.
  • Daily Living Support - Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
  • Support clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
  • Assist with medication reminders in line with care plans.
  • Emotional and Social Support - Provide companionship and conversation.
  • Encourage participation in social and community activities.
  • Support clients in maintaining independence and wellbeing.
  • Health & Monitoring - Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health.
  • Maintain accurate care records and report to supervisors.
  • Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Safety & Compliance - Follow safeguarding procedures and health & safety policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect client dignity.
  • Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are met.
