Role Overview:
The overall purpose of the role is to support the purchasing process by ensuring timely and accurate procurement of goods and services. Maintain supplier relationships, manage documentation, and assist in controlling costs and inventory levels. Ensures procurement activities align with company policies and operational needs.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and track order statuses.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement documents and supplier data.
- Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and reordering supplies.
- Prepare procurement reports and assist with cost tracking and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments to fulfil purchasing needs efficiently.
