We are hiring an experienced Legal Secretary to work in our Litigation Department.
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and professional Legal Secretary to join our Personal Injury and Litigation team. Full training will be provided, ensuring you are confident in all aspects of the role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive and dynamic legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
- Prepare materials for ongoing case progression.
- Answer and transfer telephone calls, take messages, and welcome visitors.
- Liaise with clients, visitors, and other contacts via email, telephone, and in person as required.
- Assist colleagues with various duties, including out-of-office errands such as posting documents, banking, and delivering court papers.
- Prepare, send, and receive correspondence.
- File, photocopy, scan, and maintain accurate records of documents.
- Transcribe dictation and perform general typing tasks.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite and the Proclaim case management system for daily tasks.
- Assist the team with daily work to support case management.
- Undertake other duties as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
