MAZCC is looking for a
Community Support & Engagement Officer to help create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where people feel connected, valued and supported.
This rewarding role involves supporting older people and other community members to access activities, build confidence, reduce isolation and maintain their independence.
You'll be helping people connect, take part, build confidence and enjoy meaningful activities in a welcoming and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and support visitors attending the centre.
- Assist with sign-ins and activity payments.
- Encourage participation in activities and community life.
- Support older people, including those living with dementia.
- Provide information, signposting and referrals to appropriate services.
- Support residents from LJHA accommodation to access activities.
- Identify and report any safeguarding or wellbeing concerns.
- Assist with activity set-up and delivery.
- Build positive relationships with members, families and partner organisations.
About You
