We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our busy kosher kitchen and café team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining food preparation, café service, cleaning, and customer support, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food environment and takes pride in high standards of cleanliness, service, and teamwork.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting with preparation of meals, salads and catering items
  • Supporting food service in the café and at functions/events
  • Setting up and clearing tables before and after service
  • Operating the till (POS system) and processing customer orders
  • Providing excellent, friendly and patient customer service
  • Keeping kitchen, café, and service areas clean and tidy at all times
  • Washing dishes, clearing tables, and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Sweeping and mopping floors and ensuring all areas are spotless
  • Helping with stock rotation and replenishing supplies
  • Assisting with catering and functions as required

About you:
