We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our Tingley Blooms team. As a Kitchen Porter your role is to keep the environment clean and safe by supporting the team with various duties such as mopping, washing up, cleaning surfaces and kitchen equipment. As you can imagine, it gets busy, so you’ll need to be comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. This role is part time working on average 10.25 hours per week on the following days:

  • Week 1 - Saturday 09:00 - 16:00
  • Week 2 - Saturday 09:00 - 17:00, Sunday 09:00 - 16:00

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure the kitchen environment is kept up to the highest cleaning standards.
  • Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
  • Cleaning crockery, cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and tidy.
  • Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.
  • Ensuring the kitchen area is organised and tidy.
  • Making sure work surfaces and floors are always clean and free from food and debris.
  • To assist the kitchen staff with various duties.
