Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Apprentice to join our Maintenance team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintenance and repair tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities. The successful candidate will receive training and support while working alongside experienced professionals, making this an ideal role for those looking to start their career in engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- Support the team in conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
- BTECH in Engineering or working towards a BTEC Qualification is desirable but not essential
- Basic understanding of engineering principles is desirable but not essential
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety in the workplace
