Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dependable Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of joinery repairs, maintenance, and installation work across occupied and void residential properties, ensuring homes are safe, secure, and maintained to a high standard. The role involves completing reactive and planned maintenance tasks, including fitting doors, kitchens, windows, flooring, skirting, fencing, and general internal and external joinery repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out 1st and 2nd fix joinery works in both occupied and void properties (e.g., doors, windows, skirting, kitchen units, floorboards).
  • Complete repairs and maintenance tasks to a high standard in accordance with work orders and specifications.
  • Install, repair, or replace wooden structures and fixtures including doors, floors, partitions, staircases, and roofing timbers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including safe use of tools and equipment.
  • Work effectively within a team and communicate with tenants, site managers, and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate completion of job sheets, timesheets, and other relevant paperwork or electronic records.
  • Carry out inspections and provide assessments of necessary work, including measurements and materials needed.
  • Maintain company tools and equipment and report any defects or issues promptly.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols.
