About the role
PBS4 is looking for a highly motivated HR Advisor who wants to make this role their own, whilst delivering excellent support to the HR Team and the wider business. Previous experience working in Human Resources and a Level 3 qualification is essential. You will need to be an effective and engaging communicator who is able to liaise with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. You will need to be professional, well organised and able to multitask when under pressure. Your IT skills will need to be of a high level, along with your written and verbal English.
The HR Advisor will work as part of the HR Team supporting the Enablement Managers and their teams. In addition, they will have delegated HR responsibility for other areas of the business e.g., Finance, Clinicians, Head Office etc. As PBS4 is an organisation that works with people with neurodisabilities, an understanding of neurodisability would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
The HR Advisor will ensure effective first line HR support providing expert advice across the full employee lifecycle (from post onboarding to exit) within Company policies and procedures, ensuring managers comply with all legal requirements and make fair and equitable decisions. The HR Advisor will be expected to travel and respond verbally, in writing and on a face-to-face basis in a timely manner. The role is essential in implementing HR workstreams within the designated areas and will contribute to HR projects as specified by the HR Business Partner.
Person Specifications
- CIPD Level 3 Foundation certificate in HR/People Practice
- Experience of working in a fast-paced high turnover environment managing an employee relations caseload, across multiple locations
- Experience of managing policy updates
- Experience of working as part of a busy HR team
- Experience of providing HR advice in a timely manner with competing demands across contracts of employment/absence/performance/discipline/grievance cases
- Analysis of HR data & production of statistical data
- Experience of working in a Health & Social Care organisation
- Experience of using HR systems
- Production of HR reports
