WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are actively recruiting Gas Installation Engineers to take on installation work on private housing contracts. You’ll be responsible for installing and upgrading gas heating systems, carrying out conversions to combi and system boilers, and undertaking combi and conventional system swaps. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in domestic gas installation work, with the required certifications, tools, and Gas Safe registration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, upgrade, and commission gas heating systems in private housing
- Carry out boiler conversions (combi and system boilers)
- Undertake combi and conventional system swaps
- Manage installations to ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are met
- Work independently to deliver jobs within agreed timescales
- Maintain a professional approach when working in clients’ homes
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Domestic and/or Commercial Gas Qualifications
- ACS accreditations
- Gas Safe Registration
- Minimum 2 years’ domestic installation experience
- Valid UK driving licence
- Own van, tools, and flue gas analyser
- Public Liability insurance
- Experience managing own workload
- Qualified installer of vented and unvented cylinders
- Experience with power-flushing heating systems
- Plumbing maintenance experience
- Ability to work confidently in high-end properties
