Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our team in Haverfordwest. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in a modern evolving dairy business in an exciting period of expansion where they will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations while driving high standards in safety, quality, efficiency and team performance.

At Pembrokeshire Creamery, we are proud to supply sustainably sourced Welsh milk, processed and bottled in Wales, with a strong focus on quality, traceability, local farming and operational excellence. In this role, you will lead from the front, manage production activity across the bottling operation, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to support customer fulfilment and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day production operations to deliver against safety, quality and performance targets.
  • Promote a strong health and safety, food safety and quality culture across the site.
  • Work closely with production leads and other departments to maintain an efficient workflow and deliver the production plan.
  • Monitor performance, drive improvements and provide regular KPI updates across areas of responsibility.
  • Support team capability through coaching, training, development and clear leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering and other teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain high operational standards and ensure the factory remains audit ready at all times.
What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience in a production leadership role within food manufacturing.
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
  • Good working knowledge of GMP, BRC audit requirements and health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • A hands‑on, organised and methodical approach, with strong problem‑solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 3.
  • Experience within the dairy industry would be advantageous.
