We are looking to recruit an ambitious Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team at Puffin Produce, the home of the ‘Blas y Tir’ and ‘Root Zero’. You will have a positive and proactive approach, working to a high standard; supporting the Marketing function and covering all elements of the Marketing Mix to ensure short term brand targets and long-term brand goals are met. The job is primarily based at our Withybush head office in Haverfordwest, with some time out of the office when at events or external meetings.

You will support the development of the brand strategy, working with the Sales team to build strategic brand and category plans for the ‘Blas y Tir’ and ‘Root Zero’ brands. You will support the development of the 12-month integrated communications plan, and apply it accordingly. Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style are required. As such you will demonstrate professional competence and a character that promotes inclusion and diversity at all levels. Organisational and analytical skills are paramount, as you will be responsible for overseeing the organisation of consumer-facing events and shows, as well as overseeing media selection and understanding return on investment.

This is an autonomous role, offering the opportunity for the right candidate to make a recognised contribution to the continued success of the Puffin Produce business and the Blas y Tir and Root Zero brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the long term brand strategies for the Brands
  • Support the development of the 12-month brand and integrated communications plan.
  • Support brand development and NPD streams.
  • Oversee media selection, ensuring effectiveness of channels to reach target audience.
  • Develop winning category plans, working alongside the Sales team.
  • Manage 3rd party relationships, attend industry events and support retail and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and support PR and sponsorship opportunities and relationships.
  • Evaluate return-on-investment of all Marketing activities.
  • Lead all internal and B2B communications, championing the brand internally and externally.
  • Act as the ‘voice of the consumer’ within the business.
  • Observe business etiquette and confidentiality at all times.
  • Attend training courses, Company Meetings and other events as required.
  • Carry out such other reasonable tasks that may be required from time-to-time.
