About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join a busy, award-winning kitchen in Halifax.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-quality gastro pub environment, producing dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
You'll join a talented and supportive team where learning, development and creativity are encouraged.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their own section, maintain consistently high standards, and contribute ideas towards new dishes and menu development.
This role would suit either an established Chef de Partie or a strong junior chef ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your own section during preparation and service
- Prepare and cook dishes to consistently high standards
- Maintain excellent presentation and attention to detail
- Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Support the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
- Help deliver a smooth and efficient service
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar level chef
- Experience working within a gastro pub, boutique hotel or fresh-food restaurant
- Passion for seasonal British cuisine and quality ingredients
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Calm, professional approach under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
