As one of the fastest-growing and highest-rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are recruiting an experienced Paralegal to join our team at our Guiseley, Leeds office. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional to join our dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. The role is integral to ensuring compliance, managing contracts, and addressing a broad range of legal matters that are essential to our ongoing success and growth within the energy sector.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake day-to-day legal and administrative matters delegated by the Head of Legal, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-prioritised execution.
  • Support contract audits under the guidance of the Head of Legal by reviewing customer contracts against agreed parameters, identifying risks, and assisting with remediation.
  • Provide legal support to internal stakeholders on property matters, lease documentation, general commercial contracting, insolvency administration, and drafting from approved precedents.
  • Support the resolution of customer disputes by reviewing case background, coordinating input from relevant teams, and preparing clear draft correspondence.
  • Assist with small- to mid-value litigation matters in-house, including case assessment, recoverability analysis, and preparation of claim forms, applications, witness statements, settlement agreements, and related documents.
