That’s where you come in.

The Role

At SYOS, our people are at the heart of everything we do.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and commercially minded Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture Team and help us attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across our global business.

As a partner to the business, you will work closely with hiring managers and very much work collaboratively with the People & Culture team to understand workforce needs, identify talent opportunities, and deliver innovative recruitment solutions that support our long‑term growth.

Working alongside our established Talent Acquisition team in New Zealand, you will be part of a collaborative international function focused on building talent pipelines, enhancing our employer brand, and delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

This role suits hybrid working balanced with on‑site support for hiring managers.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing expertise and market insight to support effective hiring decisions.

Key responsibilities include

  • Hiring driven by behaviours first and foremost.
  • Managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes across a variety of business functions.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with the New Zealand Talent Acquisition team to deliver a consistent global recruitment approach.

You’ll bring

  • Proven experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment within an in‑house or agency environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
  • The ability to influence, challenge, and support hiring managers effectively.
  • Experience sourcing talent across multiple channels, including Linked In and professional networks.
  • Ability to demonstrate T&A working collaboratively with People team and not independently.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across international locations.
  • Experience of delivery high volume quality hires.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technologies.

Why SYOS?

This isn’t a traditional corporate HR environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across the employee lifecycle, influence how we do things and help build the HR foundations that support our next stage of growth.

If you want to be close to the action, work with great people and help build something from the ground up, we want to hear from you.
