We are currently looking for an Electrician to join our projects team in Exeter to carry out installations of extractor fans, electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades across commercial projects, including lighting, power, distribution boards, heating, and fire alarm systems. Ensuring all electrical work complies fully with current regulations, industry standards, and strict health and safety requirements. This role could also develop into an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor role.
Responsibilities- Perform routine electrical repairs, installations, and system upgrades in commercial properties.
- Install and maintain a wide range of electrical systems including extractor fans, lighting, power sockets, distribution boards, heating systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Ensure all electrical work meets current regulations and industry standards for full compliance.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, always maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades, contractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and customer‑focused approach while on‑site.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing) – preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial electrical work.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of current electrical safety standards and building regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
