Role Overview: The role involves working in both occupied and void homes, ensuring all electrical work complies with current regulations and meets high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades in social housing properties.
- Install and maintain electrical systems including lighting, sockets, distribution boards, heating systems, and fire alarms.
- Respond to tenant-reported faults efficiently and with excellent customer service.
- Work in void properties to prepare them for re-letting, ensuring full electrical compliance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors as part of a wider property maintenance team.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanour while working in tenants' homes.
