We are looking for a Marine Project Engineer to support the delivery of reactive civil and marine engineering works across our portfolio. Working closely with operational and site teams, you will provide technical, engineering, and coordination support to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and budget. This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across a range of marine and civil engineering projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of marine and civil engineering projects from enquiry to completion
- Coordinate information between office, site teams, and key stakeholders
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical information
- Assist in resolving engineering and design issues
- Support planning of works, resources, and materials
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Attend site for surveys, inspections, and progress checks
- Support quality assurance and verification of works
- Assist with cost tracking, estimates, and project reporting
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Support preparation of RAMS and site documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Experience within a civil or marine construction environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working on marine or coastal projects
- Knowledge of reactive or maintenance-based works
- Working towards professional accreditation (e.g. ICE)
