As a Customer Services Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for students, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our accommodation. You will handle student queries, assist with administrative tasks, and contribute to maintaining a positive living environment. This vacancy is full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors, providing a friendly and professional service.
  • Respond to student enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring a prompt and helpful resolution.
  • Assist with student move‑ins and move‑outs, including check‑in/check‑out processes and room inspections.
  • Support students with accommodation‑related issues, escalating any concerns as necessary.
  • Organise and participate in community events to enhance the student experience.

Administration & Operations

  • Ensure accuracy & integrity of all data processed within our Accommodation Management System (‘AMS’).
  • Process bookings, tenancy agreements, rental payments, bank receipts/payments.
  • Assist with handling maintenance requests and liaise with the maintenance team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular building inspections and report any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

General Duties

  • Assist in ensuring the site is always clean, safe, and welcoming.
  • Handle lost property, parcel management, and general site organisation.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities as required.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably required by management.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (preferably within property management, hospitality, or student accommodation).
  • Good level of both maths and English.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Ability to handle queries efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM systems.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Experience working in student accommodation or property management.
  • Knowledge of tenancy agreements and property regulations.
