The Operations Assistant is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing ambassador and customer orders during the night. Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, the role requires maintaining Tropic's packing standards while achieving high picking speeds and ensuring minimal errors. The successful candidate will use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process orders efficiently and contribute to the smooth operation of the dispatch function.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick ambassador and customer orders using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Pack orders in line with Tropic's quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain high productivity levels while ensuring order accuracy.
- Conduct quality checks to minimise packing and dispatch errors.
- Ensure all orders are dispatched within agreed deadlines and service levels.
- Follow warehouse processes, procedures, and health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist with stock movements, replenishment, and inventory checks when required.
- Keep workstations clean, organised, and safe.
- Report any stock discrepancies, system issues, or operational concerns to team leaders or supervisors.
