We’re looking for an Ecommerce Executive to help keep tropic.com looking its best, running smoothly and giving our customers a brilliant online experience.

Reporting to our Senior Ecommerce Manager, you’ll take care of the day‑to‑day management of the website, playing an important role in getting our new product launches and promotional offers live, keeping our onsite content fresh and accurate, managing user‑generated content and supporting our organic visibility through SEO and AEO.

You’ll work closely with our external marketing agency on SEO and AEO, while collaborating with teams across Tropic to help bring new product launches and offers to life online.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves getting things done, has a great eye for detail and takes pride in making sure everything is accurate, up to date and ready when it needs to be.

Key Responsibilities

NPD & Offers

  • Manage the onsite delivery of new product launches and promotional offers, from page builds and testing through to go‑live.
  • Liaise with our Marketing, Stock and Dispatch teams to help make sure launches and offers come together smoothly and on time.
  • Track how previous launches and offers have performed, sharing insights and learnings with the Senior Ecommerce Manager.

UGC & General Site Management

  • Manage the collection and review of new user‑generated content, making sure fresh UGC is uploaded to the website each week.
  • Keep on‑site imagery and copy up to date in line with our latest campaigns and changes.
  • Make sure important product information is accurate and clearly reflected on the website, including ingredients, product details and pack shots.
  • Carry out daily website checks, spotting anything that isn’t quite right and reporting and coordinating any fixes needed.

SEO & AEO

  • Support our SEO and AEO activity through blog content, working closely with our marketing agency to identify opportunities and implement their recommendations.
  • Manage on‑page optimisation, including alt tags and internal linking, to help improve Tropic’s organic visibility.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in an ecommerce role with exposure to trading, promotions, NPD or onsite content, ideally within retail, beauty or skincare.
  • A reliable, hands‑on executor who's comfortable making decisions and getting things live accurately and on time.
  • Confident using analytics tools (e.g. GA4) to help track and report on performance.
  • Some understanding of SEO/AEO best practice, or a strong willingness to learn and work closely with our marketing agency on this.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple launches and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and happy to flag issues or ideas, while comfortable taking direction from the Senior Ecommerce Manager.
  • Collaborative and confident working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment, adapting quickly as priorities shift.

What We Offer

Employment Type:This role is offered full‑time, Monday to Friday,9 am to 5 pm.

Location:Tropic HQ is a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, with direct links to East Croydon and Wimbledon.

Hybrid Working:Enjoy a blend of office and remote working.

Salary:Starting from £30,000 per annum
