The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

To monitor drone, perimeter detection, and CCTV systems, responding to security threats in real time. The role involves coordination with risk managers, internal stakeholders, and law enforcement as required. Subject to business needs and appropriate training, there may be opportunities to support drone operations, engineering, and UAV pilot certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret security system data to identify potential threats.
  • Respond to incidents in real time, coordinating effectively with relevant security teams and external partners.
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and detailed incident reports.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT and security systems in line with operational protocols.
  • Provide real‑time reporting and situational updates as required.
  • Perform initial response & triage to any operational system alerts, creating service/incident cases, capturing & documenting the root cause, escalating to 2nd/3rd line resources where required.
  • Support the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and security protocols.

Qualifications/Skills and Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain composure and sound judgement under pressure.
  • High standards of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational skills, self‑motivation, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Awareness of current and emerging security threats.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to meet the eligibility criteria required to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance, in line with UK government security vetting standards.
  • Ability to travel to and from work locations and operational sites as required, which may involve independent travel and therefore a valid driving licence and access to transport may be beneficial. Reasonable adjustments will be considered to ensure accessibility.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating 24/7/365 shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Experience in operations room environments, open‑source intelligence (OSINT) analysis, or monitoring of social media/open‑source platforms.
  • SIA CCTV Licence (or eligibility and willingness to obtain).
  • General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) or equivalent UAV/drone certification.
