What we are looking for?
Every patient who comes to CARE ADHD is looking for answers, support and reassurance.
As a Client Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in making sure they receive all three.
This is far more than a traditional customer service role.
You'll become a trusted guide throughout a patient's ADHD journey, helping them navigate assessments, treatment and the questions that arise along the way.
Working closely with our clinical and operational teams, you'll solve problems, coordinate patient pathways and make sure every interaction is handled with empathy, accuracy and care.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-moving environment and genuinely cares about making a difference.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for adult patients via email, phone and live chat.
- Supporting patients through every stage of their ADHD pathway, from assessment through to treatment and beyond.
- Managing a varied workload across multiple inboxes, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate responses.
- Working closely with clinicians and operational teams to resolve complex patient queries.
- Identifying potential risks, safeguarding concerns or clinical issues and escalating these appropriately.
- Investigating problems thoroughly before providing clear, patient-friendly solutions.
- Supporting patients with appointments, reports, prescriptions and pathway queries.
- Accurately updating patient records across multiple internal systems.
- Following established processes whilst recognising opportunities to improve them.
- Helping identify recurring themes or issues and contributing ideas that improve both patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Customer Support, Referrals, Bookings, Governance and Clinical Operations.
To thrive in this role you'll need to
- Previous experience in customer support, healthcare administration or another fast-paced service environment.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information simply and empathetically.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively when managing multiple competing tasks.
- High levels of attention to detail and confidence working accurately across several systems simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the confidence to investigate issues independently before escalating where appropriate.
- A calm, professional approach when supporting vulnerable or distressed patients.
- Confidence learning new technology and adapting to changing processes.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and improving patient experiences.
- The ability to work independently whilst remaining a collaborative team player.
Bonus points if you have experience with
- Healthcare or mental health services
- Remote customer support
- CRM or case management systems
- Working in a regulated environment
- Continuous improvement or process improvement initiatives
