Role Description

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience as a Registered Manager and a deep understanding of children and young people in care. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the established home with full staff team, ensuring that all regulations are met.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain a safe, structured and secure homely environment for children.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff work in partnership with other professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure they are meeting desired outcomes.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that all staff are informed of changes in policies and procedures.
  • Develop strategies to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children in our care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 2 years managerial or supervisory experience within residential childcare.
  • Driving: A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and high-performing environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards in children’s residential care.

We are looking for someone who is highly empathetic and will work with us to deliver our bespoke therapeutic approach.
