Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Chef de Partie to join a friendly and busy café kitchen in Victoria Park. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Chef de Partie looking to work daytime-only shifts within a supportive and well-organised team.
Working in a close-knit kitchen brigade of 3–4, the successful Chef de Partie will help deliver high-quality café-style dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Working Pattern
- Daytime shifts only: 7:30/7:45am – 4pm
- Weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in a fast-paced café environment
- Maintain exceptional food hygiene and safety standards
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Ensure consistency in food quality and portion control
- Assist with smooth kitchen service during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy service environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for fresh, seasonal food
- Well-organised with a positive and proactive attitude
