WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Smart Energy Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be delivering services directly to customers’ homes, helping us achieve our mission of driving progress towards net-zero. Whether it’s a new installation or a complex repair, you’ll represent our client, one of the Big 6 energy companies, while providing high-quality service to our customers. To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of qualified experience, as some of the tasks can be challenging. You’ll be working closely with our Field Managers and will have plenty of support in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely replace gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes, following all health & safety procedures and industry regulations.
  • Provide first-class after-care service, including full demonstrations to customers on using their new meters.
  • Repair and maintain meters after initial installation.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Dual Fuel Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of gas and electrical systems.
  • A professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Level 2 diploma in Smart Metering.
  • MET1 CMA1/CCN1 MOCOPA (1a and 1c).
  • Full UK driving license.
