Are you passionate about supporting others? Come and join our friendly team! We currently have a Community Support Worker role available in South London working across two areas Lewisham & Lambeth. This is a part-time role, 22.5 hours per week.

What you'll do:

  • You'll work with local people to build their skills, local connections and friendships.
  • You'll make sure that the people you work with (Members) are doing as much as they can for themselves, that they are looking after themselves and that they have a life that is bigger than social care support.
  • You'll feel inspired and help inspire people. You'll encourage them to try new things and have new experiences.
  • Your role will be out and about. You'll meet people in their homes or at local venues.

What you won't be expected to do:

  • We support people with a lot of different things to do with leading an ordinary life, but we don't do things like bathing people or taking them to the toilet. This is sometimes called personal care.
