Role Overview: The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing contracts related to social housing maintenance, refurbishment, and new build projects. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and compliance standards. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities to support housing services and improve outcomes for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts related to repairs and maintenance within the social housing portfolio.
- Ensure contracts comply with statutory regulations, health and safety legislation, and internal policies.
- Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and budgetary targets.
- Lead on procurement activities in collaboration with the procurement team, including tender preparation, evaluation, and contract award.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure works are completed to agreed standards.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external contractors, residents, and internal stakeholders.
