- Role Purpose
To deliver high-quality, customer-facing installations of broadband and Wi‑Fi services to end users within VFAST-enabled holiday and leisure parks.
The role focuses on connectivity, in‑unit installations, fault resolution, and ensuring an excellent end‑user experience aligned with SLA and brand expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- End User Installations
- Install broadband services into park homes, lodges, and static caravans using a mix of:
- Wireless (Pt MP/ Wi MAX / LTE/5G CPE)
- FTTP / Ethernet where available
- Mount and align external CPE (where required) ensuring optimal signal performance
- Run internal cabling (CAT5e/CAT6/Fibre) in a neat and compliant manner
- Install and configure routers, access points, and associated equipment
- Activate services and complete provisioning checks
- Customer Experience
- Act as the face of the business on-site, delivering a professional and friendly service
- Clearly explain functionality, router setup, and basic troubleshooting to end users
- Ensure customer sign‑off and satisfaction before leaving site
- Fault Finding & Support
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across
- RF links (signal strength, interference, alignment)
- CPE and router configuration
- Escalate complex faults to Service Desk or engineering teams with clear diagnostics
- Perform maintenance visits and service restorations within SLA targets
- Health & Safety & Compliance
• Adhere to all H&S requirements including
- Working at height (ladders, external mounting)
- Electrical safety
- Safe cable routing and fixing
- Ensure all installations meet company and regulatory standards
- Maintain tools, PPE, and company vehicle in safe working order
- Documentation & Reporting
- Complete installation records, photos, and test results via job management systems
- Accurately record materials used and time on site
- Provide feedback on recurring issues, installation challenges, or product improvements
- Key Skills & Experience
- Understanding of telecoms or ISP field installations (wireless or fixed line)
• Understanding of
- Wireless technologies
- Practical installation skills (drilling, mounting, cabling)
- Customer-facing experience with good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with Wi MAX / outdoor wireless deployments
- Experience in holiday park or MDUs (multi‑dwelling units)
- Basic understanding of RF troubleshooting tools
- Certifications (e. g. ECS, Working at Height, IPAF – beneficial but not essential)
