This is not a typical graduate role. You won't be making tea or watching from the sidelines. You will own DataVita's audio and visual output from day one. If that excites you, keep reading. If you want a quiet introduction to corporate life, this isn't it.
About DataVita: DataVita is a next-generation cloud and infrastructure company operating from Tier III-certified data centres in Scotland. We work at the bleeding edge of AI adoption, automation, and how these technologies can be integrated into complex legacy environments to deliver genuine transformation. DataVita is the fastest growing technology company in Scotland, with plans to deploy and invest over £2 billion in the coming years. You would be joining at a relatively early stage of that trajectory. For the right person, this is a chance to build something from the ground up inside a business that is scaling fast.
The Role: You will own DataVita's audio and visual infrastructure. That starts with our podcast studio, which needs to be brought back into full operation. This may involve elements of redesign across both audio and visual setup. Once operational, you will be responsible for setting up, recording, and editing podcast content, using modern AI tools to make production as fast and efficient as possible. Beyond the studio, you will work as part of the marketing team to produce audio and digital assets for promotion and internal product development. Not everything happens in a studio. You will be out on location across very different environments, including large-scale construction sites, highly secure data centres, and cutting-edge operations centres. A large portion of what you produce will be used across social media and digital channels. Understanding what works online, how to test content performance, and how to adapt accordingly is a real advantage. This is an office-based role. All equipment is provided. In terms of software and platforms, you will have the opportunity to shape what tools work best for the job.
What We Are Looking For:
- Creative people who can make complex topics compelling. A lot of what DataVita does could be seen as dry or technical on the surface. We need someone who can bring it to life through visual and audio storytelling in a way that engages both customers and colleagues.
- People who stay current with technology and use it. AI tools, new editing platforms, emerging formats. We want someone who actively seeks out what's new and puts it to work rather than waiting to be told about it.
- Strong communicators. This role involves working with customers, senior leaders, technical teams, and marketing colleagues. Being able to communicate clearly and confidently across all of those audiences is essential.
- Disruptive, creative thinkers. We are not interested in safe, corporate content. We want someone who challenges the norm and brings fresh ideas to how DataVita presents itself to the world.
What You Will Get From This Role: DataVita does not limit people based on where they start. It's about what you do once you're here. This role gives you a genuine understanding of how Scotland's fastest growing technology firm operates, from the inside. You will have direct exposure to every part of the business. You will work across construction, data centre operations, cloud services, AI, and commercial functions. That breadth of experience is rare at any stage of a career, let alone at graduate level. We will provide training and development opportunities throughout your time at DataVita. Where you take your career from here is up to you.
Experience: This is a graduate role - we don't expect a long CV. What matters is:
- A genuine interest in audio and video production
- Some practical experience, whether through university, personal projects, freelance work, or online content creation
- Familiarity with video and audio editing tools
- An understanding of social media platforms and what content performs well
- Comfort working with AI tools to speed up creative workflows
- Useful but not essential: Experience with podcast production; Knowledge of A/B testing or content analytics
What You Will Get: The chance to shape a creative function inside a fast-scaling business; Direct exposure to every area of the company; Training and development throughout your time at DataVita; 33 days annual leave; Life assurance at 4x salary; Group income protection at 70% of salary for up to 2 years; Help@Hand: remote GP - physiotherapy, nutritionist, and more; Cycle to Work and EV car salary sacrifice schemes; 6 fully expensed company events per year; Option to donate to charity through salary.
