We’re looking for a Barista to join Bloom Works, a new café and retail space within The Nunhead Gardener in Camberwell. Bloom Works brings together coffee, floristry, and curated homeware; a space designed for customers to slow down and enjoy their surroundings. This is a barista-first role with additional responsibilities across retail, cashiering, and day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality coffee and drinks consistently
- Dial in espresso and maintain standards throughout the day
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Prepare and serve simple food
- Open and close the space
- Receive and process deliveries following health & safety procedures
- Support customers across floristry and homeware
- Process transactions and maintain the till area
- Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues
About you:
- 1–2 years barista experience preferred
- Confident working with espresso and coffee equipment
- Friendly, calm, and customer-focused
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
