We’re looking for a Barista to join Bloom Works, a new café and retail space within The Nunhead Gardener in Camberwell. Bloom Works brings together coffee, floristry, and curated homeware; a space designed for customers to slow down and enjoy their surroundings. This is a barista-first role with additional responsibilities across retail, cashiering, and day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality coffee and drinks consistently
  • Dial in espresso and maintain standards throughout the day
  • Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prepare and serve simple food
  • Open and close the space
  • Receive and process deliveries following health & safety procedures
  • Support customers across floristry and homeware
  • Process transactions and maintain the till area
  • Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues

About you:

  • 1–2 years barista experience preferred
  • Confident working with espresso and coffee equipment
  • Friendly, calm, and customer-focused
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment
  • Interested in coffee, floristry, or interiors
