Who Are We?

Breeze is a digital-first travel connectivity brand powered by e SIM Go, one of the world's most advanced e SIM platforms.

Our mission is to become the most trusted, frictionless global connectivity solution for regular travellers, setting a new benchmark for customer experience across the connectivity industry.

We operate at the intersection of travel, technology, and consumer education, partnering with globally recognised brands including the Lufthansa Group, Booking. com, and Western Union.

We are building Breeze on two non-negotiable foundations: a digital-first product philosophy and an unwavering commitment to the customer.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Mobile Developer to join us at a pivotal moment.

We are building the Breeze consumer app from the ground up, targeting a launch later in 2026.

You will own the mobile experience end to end, from the React Native UI through to the Type Script APIs that power it.

This is a rare opportunity to help define the architecture, UX patterns, and technical foundation of a product that will serve travellers across the world.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Building and shipping the Breeze consumer app for i OS and Android using React Native and Type Script.
  • Owning the full mobile development lifecycle: architecture, build, test, app store submission, and post‑launch iteration.
  • Integrating native device capabilities, including e SIM provisioning (one‑tap LPA activation), push notifications, and device compatibility detection.
  • Consuming and helping shape the RESTful APIs (Type Script/Node. js) that power the app.
  • Implementing the checkout and payment flow with Adyen, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Collaborating with the web team on a shared API contract and a consistent design system across platforms.
  • Ensuring app performance, crash resilience, and offline capability are production‑grade from day one.
  • Working within an agile framework: sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and iterative delivery.
  • Contributing to App Store Optimisation (ASO) strategy in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of professional development experience, with at least 3 years in mobile (React Native strongly preferred).
  • A demonstrable track record of shipping apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong Type Script skills and a thorough understanding of React Native's bridge, performance model, and native module system.
  • Solid backend experience in Type Script/Node. js; comfort reading and writing REST API contracts is essential.
  • Experience with native debugging tools (Xcode, Android Studio) and performance profiling.
  • Hands‑on experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, or equivalent).
  • An AI‑first mentality with daily, hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Git Hub Copilot, or similar) to accelerate delivery and quality, and the judgement to review their output critically.
  • Experience in a startup or scale‑up environment where pace, ownership, and pragmatism matter.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently, remotely, and take end‑to‑end ownership.
  • Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with e SIM, telecom, or travel‑tech (a significant advantage).
  • Payments integration (Adyen or Stripe), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • Firebase Auth and push (FCM/APNs).
  • Backend depth in Node. js, REST API design, and Postgre SQL.
  • Graph QL experience (our APIs are REST‑first, but the skills transfer).
  • Cloudflare (Workers, KV) and Fly. io.
  • The Interview Process

Our process is straightforward and respects your time.

Expect an initial conversation with our Tech Lead, followed by a technical assessment focused on real-world mobile challenges, and a final conversation with senior leadership.

We want to see how you architect, build, and ship — not how you solve abstract puzzles.

Ready to build the app that keeps the world connected on the move? Apply now and join the Breeze team.

How to prepare for a job interview at RGIT Australia

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If RGIT Australia uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
