Fane Group is seeking a highly organised, ambitious, and culturally curious Assistant to Producer to support the Creative Director of How To Academy across an exciting portfolio of live events, touring productions, podcasts, and cultural programming. This is a fast-paced and varied role ideal for someone passionate about live events, entertainment, touring, and culture. The successful candidate will work across projects in the UK, USA, and Australia, supporting event development, production administration, research, correspondence, budgeting, and live event delivery. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with internationally recognised talent, agents, publishers, venues, and production partners within one of the leading live entertainment companies in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Correspondence & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for agents, publishers, venues, PR teams, and production partners
- Draft professional correspondence and coordinate bookings
- Support talent and interviewer bookings and negotiations
- Liaise with external production and touring partners
- Research & Creative Development
- Research speakers, performers, and event opportunities
- Assist in developing pitches for new shows and tours
- Create pitch presentations using Canva and PowerPoint
- Support the development of original event concepts and formats
- Assist with budgeting and tour planning
- Administration & Organisation
- Manage diaries and scheduling
- Draft and organise contracts and production documentation
- Maintain calendars, filing systems, and production records
- Coordinate guest lists and ticket holds
- Support event marketing and on-sale processes
- Track budgets, settlements, invoices, and expenses
- Support financial reporting and tour costings
- Liaise with finance teams regarding payments and reconciliations
- Live Event Support
- Occasionally attend evening events
- Manage guest lists and VIP logistics
- Provide on-site event coordination and troubleshooting support
Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Confident using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, Canva, and PowerPoint
- Interest in live events, entertainment, touring, and culture

- Experience in events, entertainment, production, publishing, talent management, or cultural organisations
- Experience managing schedules, contracts, or event administration
