  • Providing non-clinical support as part of the hospital crash team when required
  • Collecting blood samples from around the hospital and transporting them to the appropriate pathology service when required
  • Supporting the safe and effective management of clinical waste, including ensuring appropriate PPE is worn
  • Assisting with deliveries and supporting contractors while on site
  • Acting as a helpful point of contact for departments across the hospital
  • Assisting with the set-up of meetings and hospital events
  • Working closely with colleagues across the hospital to provide an excellent service to patients, visitors and staff

What we're looking for

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working in a hospital or patient-focused environment
  • Experience working face-to-face with patients
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload

  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • A friendly, supportive and collaborative approach to teamwork
  • A GCSE or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge of health and safety and waste management within a hospital environment would also be advantageous.

    About you

You will be someone who genuinely cares about delivering a positive experience for patients and colleagues. You will understand the importance of dignity, privacy, confidentiality and safety, and will take pride in maintaining high standards in everything you do.

If you are reliable, caring, organised and enjoy working as part of a busy team, we'd love to hear from you.
