Due to growth within the team, our client is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their supportive team to work in partnership with children, young people, their families and the children's workforce. Our client supports individuals aged 0-25 years directly and through others, using high-quality, evidenced-based approaches to maximise impact where they live and learn.
The Role: This post involves delivery of speech and language therapy services within mainstream schools and specialist resource bases on the Fylde Coast providing SLT services for children with SLCN and Special Educational Needs. The focus of this role will be in supporting universal best practice within the settings and providing services directly and through others, to support the children and young people to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- Qualified/Registered Speech and Language Therapist with 2 or more years experience.
- Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
- Experience working within schools and as part of a multi-agency team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in report writing and record keeping.
- Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
- Access to your own vehicle.
