Job Description

Position: Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Phase 3)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)

Salary: £47,350 – £54,122 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

The Role

We are seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Therapy team at our client’s adult day service. This is an exciting opportunity to support a caseload of adults with complex speech, language, communication, and dysphagia needs, while also supervising a small team of Speech and Language Therapists. As part of the team, you will:

  • Deliver specialist interventions such as AAC, Intensive Interaction, and Sensory Programmes.
  • Support service users and their families with tailored, high-quality care.
  • Lead and supervise a small team, ensuring best practice and service development to meet evolving needs.
  • We are looking for a qualified, HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience working with individuals with complex needs and their families.
  • Candidates specialised in dysphagia are highly desirable.
