Financial Accountant Dates – Immediate start (December Onwards) for initial period of 6 months Days: Monday – Friday Hours: 09:00 17:00 Rate- hourly day rate of £34.98 Location: Hybrid working 2 days required in the office per week (base being Kingfisher House, Huntingdon) Department and Directorate Leading the Financial Accounts and Income team – with extra focus on covering the Assistant Director of Finance role including ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet including payroll, payments, receivables and SBS transactions oversight for monthly financial close, board reporting, NHSE submission and year end accounts. Job Description/ Duties Resolution of payroll issues Completion of Charity review which is currently being carried out by Trust auditors (Azets) Daily oversight of the outsourced Operational Financial Services to NHS SBS; Setup and Payment of Suppliers, Transactional procurement (Requisitions and Purchase Orders), payroll and treasury management. Ensuring the Trust is compliant in producing various Statutory returns internally and externally i.e. Month and Year end accounts, Charity Accounting & VAT Returns.
