About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join an established and growing wealth management practice on a client servicing basis. This role is focused on providing high-quality ongoing financial advice, reviews and relationship management to an existing portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will ensure clients receive personalised, compliant and proactive financial guidance aligned with their goals. In addition, this role carries a responsibility to identify opportunities to grow funds under management from both existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for an assigned client bank. Conduct annual and interim review meetings to assess changing needs, circumstances and financial goals. Strengthen long-term relationships by delivering exceptional service, clarity and consistent communication. Address client queries efficiently, providing reassurance and guidance where required.
  • Financial Planning and Advice: Review existing financial plans and recommend suitable adjustments where necessary. Actively identify opportunities to increase FUM from both existing and new clients. Provide holistic financial advice across areas including investments, retirement planning, protection and tax‑efficient strategies (within scope and qualification). Produce financial recommendations supported by compliant documentation, working closely with paraplanning and administration teams. Ensure suitability reports and advice meet regulatory and internal standards. Monitor client portfolios, performance and risk alignment. Proactively identify opportunities for rebalancing, consolidation or strategic adjustments. Update clients on market developments where relevant and appropriate.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date client records in line with FCA requirements. Follow all internal compliance processes, completing fact finds, risk assessments and documentation thoroughly. Ensure all advice given adheres to regulatory and professional standards. Work closely with advisers and the operations team to deliver a seamless client experience. Delegate administrative tasks where appropriate while overseeing client outcomes. Contribute to internal best practice initiatives and continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or actively working towards).
  • Chartered status or working towards — desirable.
  • Experience in delivering financial advice or detailed client reviews.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • High attention to detail and a solid understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and simply.
  • Client‑centric mindset with a professional, trustworthy approach.
