A prestigious private clinic in Central London is seeking a Team Lead Occupational Therapist to join their growing paediatric therapy service. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role within a well-established, sensory integration-focused clinic that has been serving families for nearly 20 years.

Due to increased demand and expansion plans, our client is recruiting a part-time Occupational Therapist – Team Leader to oversee clinical staff while continuing to deliver high-quality therapy services. The role blends leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic input, making it ideal for a seasoned OT ready to step into a team leadership position.

Candidates must be Sensory Integration trained and qualified (SI Modules 1–3) and ideally hold Advanced Practitioner status. While direct line management experience is preferred, experienced Senior OTs ready to progress will be considered. A higher salary may be offered for candidates with extensive experience beyond the core requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor therapy staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth
  • Coordinate caseloads and support evidence-based practice implementation
  • Deliver assessments and interventions for children with sensory and developmental needs
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals to develop holistic care plans
  • Maintain clinical documentation and contribute to policy and service development
  • Act as a point of contact for complex cases and support stakeholder engagement
What We’re Looking For
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum 7 years’ clinical experience, ideally in paediatrics
  • Proven expertise in Sensory Integration (SI1–3 certification required)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with Ayres Sensory Integration tools is a plus
