Part Qualified Accountant Our client is a long-established firm of Accountants now based in Sandwich. Candidates should have a good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and to grow in your role. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. They are looking for an ambitious individual with a minimum of two years practice experience, looking to further and strengthen their career. Ideally, you will be AAT level 3 qualified or studying ACCA. QBE will be considered also. Overview Preparation of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts. Preparation of personal, partnership and corporation tax returns. Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, along with processing payroll and pensions as and when required. Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage 50 and VT. BTC Practice Software would be an advantage, however training will be provided. Microsoft 365 Correspondence with clients and agencies such as the HMRC. Knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally an understanding of FRS102 and FRS105 You will be provided with the opportunity to progress your career through development of your training or provided with continued professional development courses if you are qualified. You will work as an effective team member to ensure all client deadlines and requirements are met. The position is full time, hours: 9 – 5:30, with the possibility of hybrid working after probation. Remuneration and package Competitive salary £24k – £30k, depending on experience. Pension scheme Free onsite parking Gym membership (onsite) 25 days annual leave plus Bankholidays.
